We process mainly spruce round logs, but also pines, douglas and larches. Round timber is obtained primarily from sustainably managed forests in the Belgian high Ardenne and German High Eifel. In these locations, spruce has ideal growing conditions and is distinguished by its homogenous and high level of quality.
In order to ensure our daily usage of approx. 1500 cubic meters, we buy our round timber as stock, dragged to the forest edge, and as cuts at the sawmill. We pay close attention to qualitative pre-sorting of round timber. Measurement is done on our round timber sorting and measurement system.
